Gilani, Saifullah go over affairs

Not to become part of destabilisation’

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani called up Muslim League- (Likeminded group) president Senator Saleem Saifullah and discussed the prevalent political situation and Reformed-GST bill. PM House sources told that PM discussed the prevalent political situation of the country with Senator Saleem Saifullah and invited him to PM house.
While appreciating the decision of PM to sack the two ministers Senator Saleem Saifullah said PM should have taken the decision earlier, and assured to PM that their party would never be part of any decision that could destabilise the democratic government.
Confirming to Online PM telephone call, Saifullah said, Maulana Fazl-ur Rehman is a responsible politician and I hope, he will take his decision back by keeping in view the present situation of the country.
He said it would not be justified that for the sake of one ministry the whole country is put at stake and Muslim League Likeminded group will never be part of any such decision.
While answering a question he said, all political parties should give preference to the country instead of their personal gains. -Online
